The Arab Translators Network – Arab Professional Translators Society (ATN-APTS) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to facilitate interaction between Arab freelance translators, translation agencies and their clients.
Although this translators association is registered in Willisau, Switzerland, its base in Beirut, Lebanon.
In ATN-APTS's website, you can look up information on member translators and agencies and post translation jobs, according to your needs.

Certification test
ATN-APTS’s certification test is the association’s means of assessing the qualifications of its members and ascertaining that they meet professional standards.
If you want to take the certification test, you must meet education and experience prerequisites. You’re required to have a bachelor degree as a minimum and must provide proof of your education and work experience.
Candidates should also carefully read ATN-APTS’s professional code of ethics.
Keep in mind that Arabic is spoken by 221 million people. Most often identified with the Middle East and North Africa, Arabic is the official language of 26 countries.
