Israel: Translators Associations from the nation of Amos Oz and David Grossman

translation association eurasiaIsrael was born from the adoption of a resolution by the General Assembly of the United Nations on 29 November 1947. The State of Israel is is a parliamentary republic in the Middle East, along the eastern shore of the Mediterranean Sea. Israel's financial centre is Tel Aviv, while Jerusalem is the country's most populous city. The country is divided into six main administrative districts, known as mehozot. Israel is known for religious reasons, but its rich mixed culture, as well as the medicinal waters of its sea, also attracts many visitors every year. Its population is of around 8 million people.

One of the most important translation associations in the country is ITA, the Israel Translators Association. Another Israeli translators association is the one that concerns the translation of Hebrew, ITHL.
